There is a natural parallel between the care of our bodies and the care of our souls.
Both require attention.
Both drift when neglected.
Both strengthen with consistency.
In the Christian life, we often separate the two. We speak seriously about prayer, doctrine, obedience, and spiritual discipline, yet treat the physical body as secondary. Scripture does not make that distinction.
“Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.”
1 Corinthians 6:19–20 ESV
The body is not ultimate, but it is entrusted. Stewardship includes the physical.
Faith and fitness intersect in discipline. Growth in either area does not happen accidentally. It happens through repetition, through showing up when it would be easier not to, and through accountability. In the same way that spiritual maturity develops over time, physical strength and endurance develop through steady practice.
This group exists to bring those two realities together.
What We Do
Faith + Fitness is a formation circle focused on the stewardship of the body alongside spiritual growth.
Each session begins with a short Bible study and prayer. The study is brief and direct, intended to anchor the time in Scripture. After that, we train together.
The training itself is structured but accessible. It is not performance driven and it is not built around image. It is built around sustainability, discipline, and shared effort.
The goal is not aesthetic transformation. The goal is faithful stewardship.
Online Coaching
For those who are unsure where to begin, we offer online coaching.
Some need help establishing habits.
Some need structure after a long break.
Some simply need accountability.
Online coaching provides guidance in building foundational strength, sustainable routines, and consistency. Biblical encouragement is woven into that process, not as a slogan but as context. The body and the spirit are not competing priorities.
In Person and Group Training in Western Pennsylvania
For those in Western Pennsylvania, we gather for in person sessions.
We meet, open the Word briefly, pray, and then train. The structure is simple and repeatable. The emphasis is consistency over intensity.
Faith + Fitness is not a replacement for the local church. It is not a brand or a program. It is a space where believers practice discipline together and consider the care of the body as part of obedience.
The Christian life is not only believed. It is lived.
And living faithfully includes how we steward what God has given us.
